Optimus does not collect, process or store any personally-identifiable information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers or mailing addresses. Only technical, publicly information about the respondent’s computer is processed. Even this technical information is never stored besides IP address.

• Optimus & Peanut Labs are EU Safe Harbor certified and registered with the US Department of Commerce. http://www.export.gov/safeharbor (click on “Safe Harbor List” and search for Peanut Labs).
• Optimus has been independently assessed by expert legal counsel within the market research industry and found to be in compliance with industry privacy standards. It is fair to say this was a US focused where privacy standards are very strict and we are currently in discussions with ESOMAR and other associations outside the US.
• Respondents should always have the ability to opt-out through an opt-out program. This is extended to all our partners and customers who work with Optimus.
• The appropriate disclosures are made in privacy policies of how technical information about a respondent’s computer is processed and handled. It is not stored, or ever made available to any third parties for any reason.
• Several of the Honomichl 50 firms are already either using Optimus or in the field with tests. These firms have vetted the technology and any possible privacy issues that could be associated with this, at least for the USA so far. Many are now rolling their programs out to Europe and Asia Pacific.
• Optimus software never sees an email address as it is just a redirect at the start of the survey.
