CatalystMR is a world-class survey and tabulation service provider serving the Market Research industry. We strive to bring the highest quality software and information to our clients. CatalystMR protects the privacy of corporations and individuals whose confidential information is held within our databases. The information we collect is typically used in aggregate form to help companies understand marketplace needs as well as to create and deliver better products and services. We do not sell or rent any personally identifiable information.

We subscribe to and uphold the standards for market research set forth by such organizations as Council of American Survey Research Organizations (CASRO), the Marketing Research Association (MRA), the Council for Marketing and Opinion Research (CMOR), and the European Society for Opinion and Marketing Research (ESOMAR). Additionally, CatalystMR is in compliance with HIPPA and COPPA privacy guidelines. CatalystMR is committed to respecting your privacy.

As a leading online survey company, CatalystMR provides full-service web survey programming, hosting, management and support services. We also provide precise and timely CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviews) and Tabulation specifications programming, real-time reporting, translation, and panel services. In the course of performing these services, CatalystMR may:

  1. Use client-provided lists to issue e-mail invitations to Web surveys or prepare said lists for CATI processes.
  2. Collect respondent data, both directly through web surveys and indirectly by noting such items as the date and time of respondent-visits, browser type and respondent IP address.
  3. Examine collected information in aggregate to ensure the integrity of the data collection process.
  4. Cross-tabulate and otherwise analyze respondent data.
  5. Distribute reports to our clients.

Certain information, such as age, income, race and other demographic facts are often vital to the integrity of the data gathered. All data resides on servers behind the CatalystMR firewall, is password protected, and, to a level of security that meets or exceeds industry standards, is only accessible to CatalystMR-registered IP addresses. CatalystMR will never sell your personal or corporate information to marketers or telemarketers.

Personal Information

In the course of responding to our surveys or using our service, you may have the opportunity to voluntarily submit personally identifiable information (e.g., providing profile information or providing an e-mail address). CatalystMR maintains this information in a database, and may use this information to invite you to participate in future surveys, subject to agreement with the authoring and the respondent-providing client. Your decision to participate in future surveys is completely at your discretion. That is, you have no obligation to complete this or any future survey. By participating in a survey or in visiting our website, you understand and consent to this policy.

Notice to Children and Young People

If you are under the age of 13, you may not use any services of our site, or participate in any surveys. CatalystMR does not intentionally send e-mails to or collect data from children. The CatalystMR website will not contain content which would be commonly viewed as unsuitable for children.

Notice regarding health related topics/surveys

Because facts about a person’s demographic, health, health interest, and health care are private and sensitive, we know that you may have concerns about sharing information with us. This Privacy statement is designed to answer your important questions about privacy.

Contests

Periodically we request information (typically your e-mail address or mailing address if needed to mail a prize to you) from users to participate in contests. Contest participation is completely voluntary and users may choose whether or not to disclose this information. Your e-mail or mailing address may be shared with the survey sponsor to notify winner(s) and award prizes. Users’ personally identifiable information is not shared with third parties unless we give users notice and choice. Although we may use an intermediary to conduct contests, they may not employ users’ personally identifiable information for any secondary purpose.

Log Files

We also track aggregate movement, analyze trends, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. This information is not linked to personally identifiable information.

We take every precaution to protect our users’ information. When our users enter sensitive information the information is sent as a string of data with no map to correlate with that data. Maintaining, Updating, Deleting, or Deactivating Personal Information

If a user’s personally identifiable information changes (such as zip code, phone, e-mail or postal address), or if a user no longer desires our service, we provide a way to correct, update or delete/deactivate users’ personally identifiable information. This can be done by e-mailing Customer Privacy Support at privacy@catalystmr.com. We may also be reached using the contact information below. CatalystMR will respond to any access request provided within 30 days of submitting the request.

Notification of Privacy Policy Changes
